What is FocusTrack?
FocusTrack turns real computer work into XP through the desktop app and Chrome Extension. Focused minutes charge Flow. The example on this site shows where FocusTrack is going: more XP for finished results, with an encrypted vault receipt that explains why the work counted. Agent connections, deeper coaching, and rewards are not live yet.
What does the Chrome Extension add?
It brings online work in Chrome into the same encrypted vault XP system as the desktop app.
Why does it need broad browser permissions?
The Chrome Extension needs permission to place the FocusTrack overlay on work sites, read the active tab address and title on your device, classify the page, and update Work Mode. Current activity tracking does not capture typed text, screenshots, raw files, or page content.
What are XP and Flow?
XP shows your growth. In the current beta, focused activity can earn small XP. One focused minute lights one red glyph, and fifteen glyphs activate Flow State. The example on this site shows the larger XP FocusTrack is building toward for finished results.
Does this website create XP?
No. This website is only the starting place. Current XP and Flow come from eligible Work Mode activity in the app and eligible activity in Chrome with the Chrome Extension. Rewards are not available in the current beta.
Does FocusTrack take my ideas, files, code, or client work?
Your work remains yours. FocusTrack does not capture the text you type, screenshots, raw files, code, documents, or page body. The Chrome Extension does read the full active-tab address and title on your device so it can recognize work context. Because URLs and titles can reveal context, FocusTrack keeps that current tab context in Chrome session storage only while it is needed.
Does FocusTrack understand finished work today?
Not broadly yet. The beta can award small XP for focused activity. The example on this site shows where FocusTrack is going: a finished result becomes an encrypted vault receipt before larger XP responds.
Does FocusTrack train AI on my work?
FocusTrack does not sell your work data, use it for ads, or use it to train a FocusTrack model. When Identity Reflection runs, a limited structured summary may be sent to OpenAI's API. Raw page text, screenshots, raw receipt records, and file contents are not included. Under OpenAI's current API policy, API inputs and outputs are not used to train OpenAI models by default unless the API customer opts in, and abuse-monitoring logs may retain API content for up to 30 days by default. FocusTrack does not promise Zero Data Retention today. See the privacy page for the exact fields and limits.
What data does FocusTrack collect?
The website keeps welcome choices and interaction history in the current tab session. The beta form stores what you submit plus browser user-agent and a one-way IP hash. The app and Chrome Extension store settings and activity data locally; some signed-in settings and receipt rows can sync to hosted account storage. Chrome tab address and title are read locally for work context.
Is FocusTrack end-to-end encrypted with a key only I hold?
Not today. Hosted account rows use provider encryption and account access rules, but authorized service operations can access them when needed to run or support the beta. We do not describe that as a cloud only you can see.
Are Gold and rewards available?
No. The current beta shows a sealed preview of a future reward economy, but live redemption is disabled. Gift cards and redeemable rewards are not available or promised today.
Are Codex and Claude connected today?
No. Agent Mode is currently a read-only static preview. Codex and Claude connections are planned, but agent work cannot currently create receipts, award XP, or change progress.
What happens after I request access?
Submit your email, see confirmation on the page, then watch for the setup link when your beta invite is ready. No payment is required to request access.
Do I pay today?
No. Requesting a desktop beta invite does not require payment. Public pricing is not announced yet, and no paid plan is promised here.
Can I use it on mobile?
FocusTrack is built for desktop use. On mobile, email yourself the access page and open it later on desktop.
Is there a desktop app?
Yes. The desktop app is where Work Mode, focused activity XP, identity reflection, review, and Flow start. Public install is not open yet; request your desktop beta invite and we'll send the right setup link when your invite is ready.
How do the app and Chrome Extension work together?
Start in the app for desktop and offline work. Add the Chrome Extension so online work in Chrome joins the same XP system.
Is pricing live?
Not yet. Pricing will appear when public plans are ready.
How do I reset or delete data?
Self-service export and deletion are not live yet. Contact support to ask what data is held, request an export, or request deletion. We will confirm what can be removed from the website, Chrome Extension, desktop app, and hosted account.
